Needle Jet (Emulsion tube)

MIKUNI NEEDLE JETS (Emulsion tubes) ARE IDENTIFIED BY THE THREE DIGIT NUMBER STAMPED ON THEM, THIS IS THE MIKUNI SERIES NUMBER.
You may also find that there are other Mikuni needle jets that though having a different series number stamped on them and not listed on this page, are in fact identical in dimensions to another shown here and thus interchangeable, but you must read each products description to be sure it is compatible especially in regards to the correct main jet thread. Unfortunately if the Mikuni needle jet you’re seeking is not shown here or no longer available through your motorcycles manufacturer it may well be an obsolete item. Many of these items have been a special uniquely designed part of a pollution compliant carburetor and build under contract as part of a limited production run.

All OEM Mikuni jets from the Japanese factory are flow rated and every individual Mikuni Jet size item is absolutely identical.
For years we’ve issued advice for customers to identify genuine Mikuni jets by the small box in the corner of a larger box stamped on every jet but unfortunately fake Mikuni jet copies are now appearing with this stamping on them also. Bearing this in mind your only guarantee of actually purchasing genuine Mikuni jets is determined by the integrity of the supplier.
Trying to make Mikuni jet adjustments and correctly tune an engine using inaccurately sized fake copy jets quickly turns into a nightmare and can easily cause expensive engine damage. Only ever use genuine OEM Mikuni jets and NEVER drill them.
