Cable, Mikuni VM & TM Using Stock Amal or Our Twin Pull Throttles

Description

Identify the type of throttle you have from the picture in the product library.

We have three lengths of inner wire protrusion.

Selection 1: Suits all VM26 and VM28 plus TM28, TM32 and TM34

Selection 2: suits all TM36 and TM38 carbs and VM30 thru VM34 carbs using either type throttle plus also VM36 using the OEM slotted type throttle.

Selection 3: Being longer for VM36 using the throttle with adjuster or separate sleeve. This selection also applies for all VM38’s

The exposed inner wire length is matched for use in Mikuni VM carbs using keyhole type cable attachment to the throttle valve. If your motorcycle has an OEM Japanese Motorcycle VM carb version (which normally never run properly on 4 strokes), fitted with a cable holder that is screwed to the slide, please contact the office to determine your best option.

The outer cable from the carb top adjuster to the throttle measures 1020mm. This length can be sold shorter with a modification fee, on request.

These premium grade cables use a Nylon lined outer housing. The Nylon liner inside the outer cable housing conduit is for reduced friction and heat resistance.
