Cable, Mikuni VM & TM carbs using VMX, Gasser/Whirlpull throttles

Description

Select from the purchase drop list either the cable with the standard 70 degree lower pipe or the the 90 degree low profile fitting which replaces the Mikuni top carb adjuster. Not if using the 90 degree cable do note that VM carbs have to be removed from the motorcycle to unscrew the carburetor top.

This Mikuni throttle cable is for use with Mikuni VM carbs ranging from 30mm up to 38mm & all TM non pump Mikuni carburetors 36mm thru to 41mm. This throttle cable set comes with a top fitting and inner wire protrusion for coupling with our VMX or Gasser/Whirlpull side pull Quick Action Throttle assemblies. If wishing to use this cable with an alternate or OEM throttle housing please contact us to discuss your required changes and related charges.

The exposed inner wire length is matched for use in Mikuni VM carbs using keyhole type cable attachment to the throttle valve. If your motorcycle has an OEM VM carb version, fitted with a cable holder that is screwed to the slide, this cables use is restricted to carb sizes of 36mm and larger.

These premium grade cables use a Nylon lined outer housing. The Nylon liner inside the outer cable housing conduit is for reduced friction and heat resistance.
