Outlet Adapter Sleeve for Increasing Mikuni 40mm spigot to 44mm

Description

This Mikuni outlet adapter sleeve is for increasing the spigot diameter from 40mm to 44mm on Mikuni VM30, VM32, VM34, TM32, TM34, TM33 Pumper RS34 carbs and TMX35. To enable this sleeve to offer such a small diameter increase it unavoidably will extend the outlet length of the carb by 10mm.

This  adapter sleeve has been designed and manufactured for a good interference fit over the Mikuni carburetor spigot.

This spigot must be installed by a competent person. It is recommended to carefully remove with a fine file any protruding castings found on some carburetor spigots before pressing on the new sleeve.  When pressing on the sleeve we recommend the use of a high strength 620 Loctite retaining compound or if a not so tight interference fit use Loctite 660 or a high strength two pack epoxy. The adhesive besides helping bond both items together will fill and seal any imperfections found on some carburetor spigots and also acts a a slight lubricant for the fitment.
