Going fast has never been so easy, say goodbye to hard starting, hesitations and flatspots. These Mikuni carburetors are correctly sized and easily fitted to your Honda NX650 air box and intake manifold flange using the silver anodized air-box adapter and engine outlet spigot adapter, both adapters are fitted prior to delivery when purchasing complete kits.
There are a couple of versions of this bike getting around being either manufactured in Italy or Japan, do confirm your carb dimensions against the picture A= 49mm, B= 100mm + and D= 62mm
The TM40 Pumper has proven itself to be a spectacular upgrade on all brands in the 500cc and larger big thumper market. Due to space restrictions (less than 30mm between the back of the carb and the plastic box) this carb will not adapt to your stock air-box where rather requiring the use of a POD filter of your choice bought elsewhere (carb intake spigot diameter is 65mm). The front face of the OEM air-box can be cut open to accommodate the POD if wanting to retain the box. Wide open throttle runs with both your filter on and off will determine if you have sufficient filter area to supply this carbs demand. This same process also determines the best suited of the supplied main jet options.
The kit comes with a pre jetted Mikuni TM40-6 carb, choke cable and universal bracket, fitted anodised alloy sleeves to mimic your carbs dimensions, a 1/4 turn quick action throttle and a nylon lined push/pull cable set. There are spare jets provided for fine tuning.
Climate, altitude and fuel density from different octane fuels all have varying effects on final fine tuning as does cam, exhaust and cylinder head porting etc. For this reason, we have included what we have found to be a range of jets to allow you to tune to most variables worldwide.

If wishing to modify or use your existing Honda NX650 cables to suit the Mikuni TM40-6 or use a POD filter rather than the original air-box you can purchase the carburetor, tuner jet kit and or what ever other components you want individually by following the directions below.
On the main menu to the left of the page, hover over the carb listing for TM Carbs with Accel Pump and then select TM40-6 from the drop down list. When clicking on any individual size Mikuni carb from the drop down list it will put you into a page showing not only the Mikuni carb itself but also any items relevant to that carb, being Mikuni jets, Mikuni flanges, Mikuni carb tuner kits, Mikuni cables , Mikuni throttles, Mikuni air-cleaners and a range of Mikuni carb to OEM air box adaptors etc to also suit. This also makes alternate jet selection easy for you if you have your own spec as only the type jets for that particular carb are shown.
