Cable, Mikuni VM & TM Carbs using Black MX Quick Action Throttle

Select from the purchase drop list either the cable with the standard 70 degree lower pipe which slides into your standard Mikuni carb top adjuster or one of the other two options being the 90 degree low profile fitting (only requiring 22mm of space above the carb) which screws directly into the top of the carb replacing the Mikuni top carb adjuster. Or the same threaded 45 degree option typically only used in our Yamaha XT250 /350 single carb conversion kits. Note: if using either the 45 or 90 degree cables that VM carbs have to be removed from the motorcycle and the carb itself spun to unscrew the carburetor top.

This Mikuni throttle cable is for use with our Quick Action MX throttle when attaching to Mikuni VM carbs, with the keyhole type cable attachment system, ranging from 30mm up to 38mm & all TM non pump Mikuni carburetors 34mm thru to 41mm.

The exposed inner wire length is matched for use in Mikuni VM carbs using keyhole type cable attachment to the throttle valve. If your motorcycle has an OEM VM carb version, fitted with a cable holder that is screwed to the slide, this cables use is restricted to carb sizes of 36mm and larger.

This throttle cable set comes with a 10mm top adjuster fitting and inner wire protrusion for coupling with our black MX side pull Quick Action Throttle assemblies. These premium grade cables use a Nylon lined outer housing. The Nylon liner inside the outer cable housing conduit is for reduced friction and heat resistance.
