Description
This kit includes: Two pre jetted for your global location VM32 carburetors, carb mounting flanges to suit the VM32 which have a 40mm OD on the carb outlet spigots. The throttle cable kit measures 850mm end elbow to elbow and has a 10mm thread for connection to the OEM CB throttle housing, black 70mm long POD Filters.
Going faster has never been so easy, say goodbye to hard starting, irregular idle, hesitations, and flatspots. The Dual Mikuni VM32 carburetor kit is the recommended change over size and is easily fitted to your Honda CB 350, 400 or 450 twin where the improvement is instant. There are spare main jets for fine tuning the top end at WOT, where fastest in what ever gear you feel safe testing in, is the best. Climate, altitude and fuel density from different octane fuels all have varying effects on final fine tuning which we allow for depending on your global location. Usually only cam and cylinder head porting will change a motor to a point where the purchase of extra jets for tune may be required. In the jet kit is a range of jets for the Mikuni VM32 carburetors to best suit your Honda CB 350, 400 or 450 but please do contact us if you believe further fine tuning is required and we can guide you through the process. If wishing to modify your existing Honda CB cables to suit the Mikuni VM 32 or use a different air filter rather than the provided POD Air filter you can purchase the carburetor, tuner jet kit and or what ever other components you want individually by following the directions below.
On the main menu to the left of the page, hover over the carb listing for Mikuni VM Carburetors and then select VM32 from the drop down list. When clicking on any individual size Mikuni carb from the drop down list it will put you into a page showing not only the Mikuni carb itself but also any items relevant to that carb, being Mikuni jets, Mikuni flanges, Mikuni carb tuning kits, Mikuni cables , Mikuni throttles, Mikuni air-cleaners and a range of Mikuni carb to OEM air box adapters etc to also suit. This also makes alternate jet selection easy for you if you have your own spec or wish to purchase extra jets as only the type of jets that fit that particular carb are shown.

Bought this carb kit to get shipped all the way to sunny Scotland ???????????????????????????? as my CB450 K7 always ran like a pig ! The service could not have been better but to top it all it was a simple bolt on hook the throttle cable up and hey presto! Fired right up !! Idle was good straight off , WOW it’s never done that before! Some minor adjustments on the mixture and couldn’t wait to try it out.
What can I say apart from its a totally different bike , pulling like a good one throughout the Rev range , I could not be happier !
Had a celebratory beer that night and thought about the recommendations Tom had given and decided to change main jets to see if there could be some more improvement (but have to be honest , if that’s as good as it got I wouldn’t complain) went next jet up that was supplied with the kit and yeah I got even better . I’m super stoked about deciding to purchase this amazing carb kit from Mikuni oz ! Getting this shipped half way round the world to the U.K. even after import tax I saved about £200 as opposed to buying this kit here in the U.K. but better than that is the many years of knowledge Tom is all to willing to hand out to make your bike run the best it can run .
I’m still messing around with needle heights happily trying to eek out a little bit more from this old bike but as I said earlier , if this is as good as it gets I’m a happy customer .
