Please note: Select your carb kit to match your air-filter inlet side diameter as listed below or without a sleeve where the carb measures 58mm diameter for using with a POD filter.

XR250 with Plastic tank and mechanical slide carb stock measures 40mm OD at motor- 97 long- 47 Inlet at air-filter end. This Carb comes with a 46.5mm sleeve fitted where your air-box inlet will clamp the boot down onto it.

XR250L  Steel tank (also XR250R electric start)and CV carb stock measures 40mm OD at motor- 103 long- 55 inlet at air-filter end. This Carb comes with a 54mm sleeve fitted where your air-box inlet will clamp the boot down onto it.

The Mikuni TM34 Non Pump type TM Flatslide carburetor has for decades been the economical replacement carb of choice for Honda XR250 riders who have worn out their OEM carbs or are just over some of their inherent problems. All this means getting the full enjoyment out of your Honda has never been so easy, say goodbye to hard starting, hesitations and flatspots.  These Mikuni carburetors are easily fitted to your Honda XR250 and are generally used with a POD or foam filter or can be connected to your OEM air-box on some models as mentioned in bold above. Sourcing of a sleeve to extend the length and slightly step down diameter of the carb inlet can allow the use of the OEM air-box on the later model XR250L also. The kit comes with a throttle cable and a choice of MX or VMX 1/4 turn quick action throttles and a nylon lined cable with a 90 degree lower fitting for the tight clearance on some models. There are jets provided that must be changed as well as spares for fine tuning. Climate, altitude and fuel density from different octane fuels all have varying effects on final fine tuning as does cam, exhaust and cylinder head porting etc. For this reason, we have included what we have found to be a range of jets to allow you to tune to most variables.

If wishing to modify or use your existing Honda XR600, XR650 cables to suit the Mikuni TM38 or use a POD filter rather than the original air-box you can purchase the carburetor, tuner jet kit and or what ever other components you want individually by following the directions below.

When clicking on any individual size Mikuni carb from the drop down list it will put you into a page showing not only the Mikuni carb itself but also any items relevant to that carb, being Mikuni jets, Mikuni flanges, Mikuni carb tuner kits, Mikuni cables , Mikuni throttles, Mikuni air-cleaners and a range of Mikuni carb to OEM air box adaptors etc to also suit. This also makes alternate jet selection easy for you if you have your own spec as only the type jets for that particular carb are shown.
