Mikuni Flange ASSY 33-28mm Tapered ID, 40mm Offset Boot ID (7mm Shorter)

Description

This Mikuni Mounting Flange has a 33-28 tapered ID in the alloy stub flange, with fitment for 49mm thru 59mm stud centres. The included rubber boot has a 13mm offset for multi-directional mounting.

Ideal for  applications where fitting 32mm thru 34mm carbs to cylinder heads with 28mm or smaller ports for maximum surface to surface connection and inlet funnelling, especially with engines where you either don’t have the available surface area or real need to enlarge the ports sizes when upgrading carbs.

This rubber boot/sleeve is for mounting Mikuni carbs to have a 13mm offset in situations where depending on the orientation of the boots, the carbs need to be spread for clearance (such as Triumph T140E) or raised as with a number of two stroke multi engines where our carb bowls interfere with the crankcase.

Suits Mikuni Carbs with 40mm outlet spigot diameters. The carb will remain parallel with the engine spigot whilst being positioned 13mm off to what ever side you wish to set the rubber Boot.  The standoff distance between the seated edge of the carburetor spigot and the engine stub is 12mm.

This mounting flange is designed for fitting Mikuni carburetors with a 40mm spigot outside diameter to any engine with mounting stud spacings ranging from 49mm centre to centre measurement through to 59mm. The alloy stub flange is made using 6061 grade Aluminum with a silver anodized coating. The inside hole diameter reduces down from 33mm to 28mm with a total Stub height of 21mm not including the 12mm centre block in the rubber boot which in total stands the carb face 33mm back from the cylinder head. The 40mm outside spigot diameter for matching with Mikuni VM30 thru VM34 Roundslide carbs, TM32 and TM34 Flatslide carbs. These also suit the TM33 flatslide pumper carbs plus RS34 for fitment to multi cylinder engines. The slotted mounting holes in the 10mm thick base do suit mounting hole centres from 49 thru 59mm when using up to 5/16″ or 8mm button head bolts (as found in the search box).

The assembly includes a gasket and heavy duty rubber boot attachment sleeve which has a 40mm inside diameter both ends and comes with stainless steel hose clamps featuring rolled outer edges to protect the rubber.
