Description
The original 2″ wide filter for the HS40 is now obsolete and has been replaced with this the 2.5″ wide Evo filter and cover which requires the gluing or Loctiting on of a supplied 55mm to 65mm step up ring to accomodate the larger filter. This Mikuni HS40 air-filter kit suits all Harley Davidson Shovelhead using stock crankcases where the top stud between the cylinders is used for securing the lower mounting spacer.
The kit includes a Mikuni K&N 2″ wide HS40 air-cleaner, chrome cover with centre bolt, filter stud load sharing support plates and all other necessary hardware as shown in the main picture. This kit was specially designed by Mikuni and will deliver the maximum airflow to your HS40 40mm Carburetor.
