Mikuni Mounting Flange Super Short ASSY 32mm ID, 40mm Boot ID

Description

This Mikuni Super Short Mounting Flange has a 32mm ID, with fitment for 51mm thru 58mm stud centres.

This is the shortest version available and ideal for  applications where fitting 30mm thru 34mm carbs to cylinder heads with 30mm and larger port, for maximum surface to surface connection and inlet matching.

This mounting flange is designed for fitting Mikuni carburetors with a 40mm spigot outside diameter to any engine with mounting stud spacings ranging from 51mm centre to centre measurement through to 58mm. The alloy stub flange is made using 6061 grade Aluminium with a silver anodized coating. The inside hole diameter is 32mm with a total carb set back from the motor mounting surface of 22mm. The 40mm outside spigot diameter is for matching with Mikuni VM30 thru VM34 Roundslide carbs, TM32 and TM34 Flatslide carbs. These also suit the TM33 flatslide pumper carbs plus RS34 for fitment to multi cylinder engines. The slotted mounting holes in the base do suit mounting hole centres from 51 thru 58mm when using up to 5/16″ or 8mm Button Head bolts. Button head holts (not supplied) have to be used for clearance under the rubber boot. The assembly includes a gasket and our shortest version heavy duty rubber boot attachment sleeve which has a 40mm inside diameter both ends and comes with stainless steel hose clamps featuring rolled outer edges to protect the rubber. This rubber boot doesn’t have the usual 4mm wide spacing block separating both spigot surfaces to again minimise the carb stand off distance.
