Description
This mounting flange and rubber boot is designed for fitting Mikuni carburetors with a 42mm through 45mm spigot outside diameter to any engine with mounting stud spacings ranging from 56mm centre to centre measurement through to 78mm. The alloy stub flange is made using 6061 grade Aluminum with a silver anodized coating. The inside hole diameter is 38mm and with the rubber boot fitted the front face of the carburetor outlet spigot will sit back 32mm off the mounting surface. The 43.5mm inside diameter of the rubber boot with a little stretch or a tightening down will suit Mikuni VM36 and VM38 Roundslide carbs, TM36 and TM38 Flatslide carbs, also TM flatslide pumper carbs in 36 thru 40mm along with RS36, 38 and 40 for fitment to multi cylinder engines, remembering that the inside bore is only 38mm if fitting a 40mm carb. The slotted mounting holes in the 10mm thick base do suit mounting hole centres from 56 thru 75mm when using up to 5/16″ or 8mm socket head screws (Allen key), or a little more if using 1/4″ /6mm..
The heavy duty rubber boot attachment sleeve comes with stainless steel hose clamps featuring rolled outer edges to protect the rubber.
The assembly includes a gasket.
