This 2 into 1 cable assembly comes in three options being, for use on all pre 1979 Triumph, pre 1975 Norton, BSA and other British twins when using either of the two common type independent throttle assemblies in the picture gallery or otherwise for use on the 1975 Norton Command MK3 and 1979 and later Triumph T140E stock throttle/switch block assemblies (made in France) with the 6mm top fitting . This cable set will be compatible when fitting Mikuni VM carbs ranging from VM26 through to VM38 and all TM non pump Mikuni carburetors over 28mm.

These premium grade cables use a Nylon lined outer housing. The Nylon liner inside the outer cable housing conduit is for reduced friction and heat resistance. They are supplied with shortened 70 degree lower cable end fittings for better petcock clearance and an inline adjuster on the top cable.

All throttle cables must be lubricated during installation with cable lube or a very light oil such as 3 in 1 to avoid clogging. Besides the need to lubricate the inner wire in the housing, the cable end barrels at their pivot points should be lubricated with water proof grease.
If you need to clean your cable which is particularly relevant for dirt bikes. We recommend using WD40 or a very light oil such as 3 in 1. This effectively washes away dirt from the cable, without clogging it.
