This Triumph T140V and oil in the frame model T120 kit, offers Mikuni’s best performing carbs option whilst being able to retain the OEM side covers and standard motorcycle look. Being able to use the oem air-box connection boot only applies when using our much shorter TM flatslide type carbs in combination with these special mounting spigots and rubber boot set.
Going even faster has never been so easy when selecting the TM’s over the VM option, where again say goodbye to hard starting, dribbling ticklers, irregular idle from fast wearing slides, hesitations, and flat spots. The Dual Mikuni TM32 Flatslide carburetor kit is easily fitted to your T140V Triumph and the improvement is instant.
This kit includes- Two pre-jetted TM32 Carbs, spare up and down size main jets for wide open throttle test runs to determine the fastest/best, CNC machined super short silver anodized manifolds with gaskets and 5/16″ UNC button head screws to maintain the super low profile using our shorter version heavy duty rubber boots, plus a nylon lined premium quality 2 into 1 throttle cable with low profile 90 degree lower fittings.
Important Notes- The cables screw directly into the top of these taller carbs for better clearance. The new super short mounting flange set move the carbs further forward eliminating any previous fouling issues with the petcocks whilst also allowing the OEM air-box rubber boots to be inserted into the carb spigots. Once you have the carbs synchronized ( see our cable fitment and carb sync video at the top of the menu) and you have the boots in place, we suggest you tape around the carb spigot and again approx 4mm down the rubber boot to then apply a tidy bead of fuel resistant silicon to seal any air gaps. On the earlier models our supplied 5/16″ button head screws may not be a thread match where you will need to source your own screws with low profile heads.
