This slide suits most VM38 Round slide carbs with a right hand idle adjuster screw.
Some slides found in the OEM carbs originally fitted to production motorcycles may be different. This slide uses the keyhole method for attaching the cable where a round metal disc under the spring retains the cable in the slide. Some OEM versions use a cable holder which is secured to the slide with two screws and in some instances where these are no longer available or economically not viable you can use this slide whilst also purchasing the matching retainer plate. A cable adjustment may be required and most importantly all other dimensions must correspond.
