Going fast has never been so easy. These carburetors have for a long time now been the popular carb of choice to fit to Kawasaki KLX 250 and 300’s with outstanding increases in performance and power along with general smooth throttle response and rideability.
This kit includes an silver anodized air-box adapter fitted to the carb, a pilot and main jet that must be fitted along with two spare main jets for WOT tune testing.
The attached KLX Carb Mod PDF (click on the Blue “KLX Carb mod” at the top of the page) from the KLX Owners Club in England, best explains all mods needed to be performed by a competent person to make this carb fit to your bike. Do read this before leaping into purchasing the kit so as to be clear on what is required. Any time spent in fitment will be long forgotten first blast around the block. You will have to be careful though when first riding as this comes with a lot more power.
The TM33 with the sleeve fitted measures 54mm outside diameter at the air-box end, 104.5mm front to back total length and 40mm outside diameter at the outlet, motor end. The KLX engine flange socket is 42mm and as it is impossible to properly make a reliable sleeve 1mm thick with the locator groove in it, you just have to simply crank the rubber flange down onto the carb. when doing this always check that you have enough adjustment in the clamp to tension adequately.
If your motorcycle does not have a rear wheel rim locker fitted, customer experiences has us strongly recommending that you have one in place if using this carb.

Firstly outstanding service and support from Mikuni Oz. The TM 33 fitted easily and was jetted perfectly as it came. It took about 2hrs to fit to my 2009 KLX 250 with 300cc kit.The results are outstanding and i should of done in years ago.
