Air-Filter mounting kit for Harley Davidson Shovelhead

Description

This Mikuni HSR42 / HS40 Air-filter mounting kit suits Harley Davidson Shovelhead models using stock crankcases, where the top stud between the cylinders is used for securing the lower mounting spacer. Besides Mikuni K&N air-filters this mounting kit can be used for universal applications mounting many aftermarket air-cleaners to Mikuni and other carburetors.

The kit is supplied with one center extender spacer, two upright support plates and two spacer washers. One washer for placing between the inner support plate and your air-filter backing plate, to create a level mounting surface and the 2nd as an optional extra bottom spacer if fitting with a HS40 carb rather than a HSR42. The lower center 5/16 UNC bolt is also supplied.
